FedEx Express is accepting new profiles only for pilot job seekers who meet basic minimum qualifications for FedEx Express pilot positions. Please note that submitting a profile or meeting basic minimum qualifications does not indicate that FedEx Express has or will consider you an applicant for employment.

Please review and affirm that you meet the following qualifications:

Do you have a commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-engine and Instrument rating (without limitations)?

Do you have a current ATP Certificate?

Do you have the ability to pass FAA mandated drug screen?

Do you meet requirements for and currently hold First Class Medical certification or a Military Flight Physical?

Do you have 20/20 correctable vision?

Do you possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university?

Are you legally authorized to work in the U.S.?

Are you eligible for rapid visa issuance, issued by offices in the United States to fly to any FedEx Express international destination?

Are you eligible for issuance of U.S. Security Clearance?

Are you eligible to work in the United States now and in the future without requiring sponsorship for employment such as H-1B visa status?

Do you have at least 1500 hours total fixed-wing time as PIC or SIC in multi-engine turbo-prop or jet A/C or combination thereof.

Are your certificates and ratings issued by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration?

FedEx Express Pilots must be granted security clearance to access Security Areas [SIDA] of airports and are subject to the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1544. These requirements include employment history and criminal background checks, including a FBI fingerprint based criminal history check. This position also requires a Radio Telephone Operators License. The authority for collecting this information is 49 U.S.C. Sections 114 and 44936.

Please review the following list of disqualifying offenses and certify that you have not, during the past 10 years, been convicted or found not guilty by reason of insanity of any of the following disqualifying offenses. A conviction includes any finding of guilt, plea of guilty, plea of nolo contendre or plea of no contest:

Forgery of certificates, false marking of aircraft, and other aircraft registration violation;
Interference with air navigation;
Improper transportation of a hazardous material;
Aircraft piracy;
Interference with flight crew members or flight attendants;
Commission of certain crimes aboard aircraft in flight;
Carrying a weapon or explosive aboard aircraft;
Conveying false information and threats;
Aircraft piracy outside the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States;
Lighting violations involvinlg transporting controlled substances;
Unlawful entry into an aircraft or airport area that serves air carriers or foreign air carriers contrary to established security requirements;
Destruction of an aircraft or aircraft facility;
Murder;
Assault with intent to murder;
Espionage;
Sedition;
Kidnapping or hostage taking;
Treason;
Rape or aggravated sexual abuse;
Unlawful possession, use, sale, distribution, or manufacture of an explosive or weapon;
Extortion;
Armed or felony unarmed robbery;
Distribution of, or intent to distribute, a controlled substance;
Felony arson;
Felony involving a threat;
Felony involving:

Willful destruction of property;
Importation or manufacture of a controlled substance;
Burglary;
Theft;
Dishonesty, fraud, or misrepresentation;
Possession or distribution of stolen property;
Aggravated assault;
Bribery; or
Illegal possession of a controlled substance punishable by a maximum term of imprisonment of more than 1 year

Violence at international airports;
Conspiracy or attempt to commit any of the aforementioned criminal acts.
